A friendly couple in their thirties visited my practice decades ago. The man complained of restrosternal pain. Strange at that age. Nevertheless, in view of the typical symptoms, angina pectoris had to be considered, even a myocardial infarction. I recommended immediate clarification at the hospital, wanted to call an ambulance, but they didn't want to. The wife took him there. The two of them sat on a bench outside the hospital for a moment. The man died there. I'm still sorry today that this happened.
