Urtinktur
The term mother tincture refers to the standard work HAB (=Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia), according to which production takes place. For this reason we use this term. No homeopathic dilution takes place. The result of the preparation is a concentrated extract.
Certain Chinese herbs have properties that cannot be replaced by Western herbs. Some Western TCM specialists therefore mix Western herbs with Chinese herbs and teach formulations in their seminars. Complemedis presents these Chinese herbs as tinctures.
Thanks to the spagyric process, we can also offer you other extracts (e.g. from toxic medicinal plants such as Aconitum napellus, Atropa belladonna, Pulsatilla vulgaris or Thuya occidentalis) to add to your mother tincture mixtures. We obtain these essences from a manufacturer recognised in Switzerland.
Pulsatilla vulgaris
At Complemedis, all raw materials are tested for identity and purity (pesticides, heavy metals, aflatoxins, microbiological contamination, etc.).
The alcohol content in mother tinctures varies between 30% and 70% depending on the herb. Complemedis declares the amount of alcohol in a mother tincture mixture on the dispensing bottle.
Compleweb www.compleweb.ch is available for prescriptions. Professionals can find the appropriate tool here:
After entering the patient data and the prescription ingredients, enter the dosage in number of drops or millilitres. Patients receive a pipette with each vial, which also contains a graduation in millilitres, so that you are free to prescribe in drops or millilitres.
Our prescriptions come like this:
Patients receive a dropper bottle containing 50 or 100 ml and take an average of 2-3 × 25-45 drops, which corresponds to approximately 2-3 × 1-1.5 ml.
A mother tincture prescription of 100 ml with 4 to 20 components costs from CHF 35 and lasts for one month at a recommended average dosage of 25 drops (= 1 ml) for 3 intakes per day, or 3 weeks at 25 drops/3 x daily. The invoice is transparent and itemises the costs for the prescription, postage (usually CHF 4.80, tracking included) and dispensing fee (CHF 5).
The dispensing fee is only charged for consignments that must be collected from a pharmacy or drugstore due to official restrictions, i.e. prescriptions issued by non-medical specialists. In emergencies and other inadequacies, non-medical prescriptions may also be delivered directly to patients. See the options in Compleweb.
If a prescription contains a larger quantity of spagyric essences, a surcharge of CHF 5 per 5 ml will be levied for a proportion of more than 20%, as spagyric essences are associated with higher manufacturing costs.
